Denise Turner Jewelry is excited to be back at the Manteo Farmers Market, Dowdy Park Nags Head Farmers Market, and the Avon Farmers Market! We will be in Manteo every Saturday from 8 am-Noon until October! We will also be at the Dowdy Park Farmers Market Beginning 5/23. Dowdy Park Farmers Market will be every 2nd and 4th Thursday from 9am-1pm. Then, beginning 6/18 we will be at the Avon Farmers Market

Dare County Arts Council’s longest-running kids’ art program, the Artrageous Kids Art Festival, will be celebrating its 30th year on Saturday, May 11 from 10am-3pm at Dowdy Park in Nags Head.
Presented by PNC Bank, the entertainment will celebrate this year’s Artrageous theme, A Big, Bright, Beautiful World, which promotes art, diversity, and culture in our community and around the world.
There will be live music by Latin band Argüenderos Musical, student bands from the Mustang Outreach Program, as well as progressive reggae band One Culture.
The free, family-friendly event will also feature a special appearance by an African dance duo with live drummers and performances by Atlantic Dance and Outer Banks Centre for Dance.
Stamping metal pendants, making stained glass sun catchers, forging mini swords and painting cedar shakes are some of the many free, high-quality art activities that kids can participate in at Artrageous.
Proceeds from Artrageous benefit Dare County Arts Council’s cultural arts programming and the Artrageous Youth Scholarship Fund, which awards one scholarship to a senior at each Dare County High School.
This project is supported by the North Carolina Arts Council, a division of the Department of Natural and Cultural Resources.
